Trox Gallery is seeking entries for our annual self portrait show, Reflections. Entries are accepted July 26th-31st. The exhibition opens August 4th, and is open to the public until August 26th.  A self-portrait is, in the most simple and broad terms, a depiction of the self-literal, physical, or metaphorical-via any medium. Women: Celebrating the Female Creative helped raise over $2,000 for SOS, Inc

50 female artist entered pieces in "Women" and as of March 9, twelve of those pieces have sold, with half (or more) of the sale price being donated to SOS, Inc along with each lady's $10 entry fee.  I would call that a successful art exhibition and fundraiser!  "Women" will be on display until March 23, so you still have time to see it and donate to SOS, Inc - the local organization who assists victims of sexual and domestic violence.  Kaila Mock
