Description
Hadley Heffner is a 6th grade local author from Woodson County. "Saving Black Beak" is her story of raising a goose. There is joy and peace, but also the tragedy that often comes when raising baby animals. The girl takes quick action despite her own fear and turns to her dad who has the knowledge and willingness to help save the day--and the goose.
