We're so glad you're interested in selling your artwork at Trox Gallery and Gifts! We currently represent over 100 local artists, but are always looking to add new and exciting pieces.

Trox Gallery and Gifts is owened by Kaila Mock. Kaila is an Emporia native who has always felt very strongly about the power of art, and she has worked hard to cultivate a strong arts community in Emporia.

Rules

-Must be 18+ to enter into a consigment contract with Trox Gallery and Gifts.

-Trox only represents local and regional artists or artists with strong ties to Emporia

-Trox Gallery has an exclusivity clause in our contract, so you may not sell the same or similar art on consigment at any other location in the Emporia city limits. This does not include special events or festivals.

-If this application is accepted, artist is required to thoroughly read and sign a Consignment Contract with Trox Gallery and Gifts.

FAQ's

Q. What is the consignment rate?

A. Standard 60/40% split-artist is paid 60% and Trox retains a 40% commission.

Q. When do I get a check?

A. Artist checks are emailed out by the 10th of every month.

Q. Can I still sell on Etsy or other platforms?

A. Yes, if you have high quantities of the same item or completely different items. For example: you make soap and have 20 bars-10 available at Trox and 10 available on Etsy-that is fine.

No, if the items are unique. For example, an original painting is consigned to Trox but also listed on Etsy; you may not retrieve an item from Trox to fulfill an outside order.

Q. How long is the consignment period?

A. 6-12 months.After 6 months we can reevaluate inventory based on sales, after 12 months unsold items need to be removed or replaced.
